END OF YEAR BLOG DUMP

So it happens. You have a blog idea, you get started on it, but you don't finish. You never seem to have time to loop back around to it. Such has been the past year. Rather than let this continue, I have tried to revisit what strands of thought can be regathered and throw out as many of the intended posts as at least seem semi-coherent. So the following is a blog dump. Before the end of the year, Lord willing, there will be 6-10 "new" posts.
